I have so many honestly i couldn't tell you them all here. I will tell you while we work the book fair next week. Love ya! I am so excited for you, and hope you have a fantastic time...It is the happiest place on earth for a reason.
So I don't have many suggestions for Disneyland as I haven't been there for 12 years myself. But I am so excited that I finally hooked up with you. I kept telling your mom and dad. Anyway...they failed to mention you moved! Where did you go to?
JeaLouS! Every body is getting to go to this place except me! Not Fair! Yes-I am stomping my feet and jumping up and down-an adult tantrum. I love disneyland pretty much as much as any little kid does. I love the sounds, the smells, the whole thing. We took the girls a few years and learned a couple of tricks that i wish I would have know sooner. First-go to the dollar store and get your kids disney trinkets for each day that you are there. Why? They are 16 times cheaper and they are the same stuff you get in the park. Plus-they get to open a little present every day and they wont beg to get "something" everyday!!! This helped us a ton! It worked like a charm! I have told lots of people to do this. 2nd-food in the park is super expensive! LIke ridiculous! Bring your own food in. Even if you have to take a cab to the store to get some stuff-it's so worth it. You can take in all the food that you know they will eat, plus a ton of water-much easier, and cheaper! I know that most of your kids are big-but if you have a wanderer-get one of those backpack leashes. Trust me, you will so glad you have that when you are not off chasing a child. I thought this was a great idea. We didn't do it, but next time we go, I am so doing this. Have everyone wear the same color shirt-each day. So, then you can take a quick head count-and know that everyone is accounted for. You don't have to go and have special shirts made-just get the all the same color for the days that you are going to the park! Plus-they rent strollers-you don't need to bring your own. I think that they cost 5 dollars a day. JEalous! Good luck! Have so much fun! one more thing-if you can-eat with the characters. My kids loved this. They got to eat whatever they wanted with ALL of the characters and then you weren't chasing after the people all day. They would sign their books and pose for any pics. Also-make your kids own autograph books. Super easy and they will love it!
Life is not a race-but indeed a journey. Be honest. Work hard. Be choosy. Say "thank you," "I love you," and "great job" to someone each day. Go to church, take time for prayer. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh. Let your handshake mean more than a pen and paper. Love your life and what you've been given; it is not accidental-search for your purpose and do it as best you can. Dreaming does matter. It allows you to become that which you aspire to be. Laugh often. Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them. Some of the best things really are free. Do not worry, less wrinkles are more becoming. Forgive, it frees the soul. Take time for yourself-plan for longevity. Recognize the special people you've been blessed to know. Live for today, enjoy the moment. ~Bonnie Mohr
