An open letter to my offspring:

I cleaned out the van.

It no longer smells like a chicken nugget, or a bucket of bum.

I vacuumed up all the dog hair, and some legos too.

I am quite impressed at how much filth 4 children can produce! Kuddos.

Now, please refrain from asking me to take you anywhere in it.

Much love,

Mom

Glittery texts by bigoo.ws

Ya I did. Bigtime. McCoy no cavaties. Caden one teeny tiny one. Haylee one teeny tiny one and a consult for braces! Yea me!

Madi will go for a consult in June. For braces. But that's a whole other post!

Just keepin' it real!

{What's On My Happy List Today}

{Spring }

It's finally here(we hope it stays)!

{New Friends}

McCoy is enjoying playing with the twins down the road, Ian & Eeyore(not her real name, he just calls her that)!!

{Dessert}

We had fat boys after dinner last night(I may have had one before 10am today.....just sayin')

{The Dentist}

Yes, I did say that. We have held off going for awhile(for crappy co-pay issues)but now I can say the health issurance thing is a wonderful thing to have! Taking the kiddos @3 today...not one has had a cavity b4.....let this NOT be the day!

{My Hubby & My Van}

I know we sometimes refer to it as the p.o.s.(the van, not the husband) and it does smell like a chicken nugget most of the time.....I am greatful it runs me to all of my many adventures. Lately, it has been making really awful noises (brakes and roters and such). My poor FIL drove it yesterday and I about died.....it sounds so bad! Haylee hates me taking her to school in that thing cuz when I try to stop it is metal on metal baby! She literally lays down on the floorboards with tears in her eyes! (think the movie 'uncle buck', you know that scene when he pulls up to the high school and his car backfires and all the kids hit the ground) Ya, It's that bad. Anywho- the hubs is fixing it tonight, and not a moment to soon....maybe Haylee won't disown us tomorrow.

How about you? Anything making you smile today?

Happy (belated) Birthday Caden!

Due to the fact that I just got my computer back(and my sanity), I'm a little late blogging about my little buddy's birthday.

Caden man turned the big 7 on Tuesday, April 7.

Notice the two cakes? Yeah, Mom dropped the big gallon ice cream bucket on the red and blue star wars cake....so...an oreo cake was purchased to hold the star wars figures. Not a big deal??? Oh it was major drama at our house! My little man is growing up so fast! Caden was born on daylight savings, conference the whole shebang at 12:33am.....and boy was I ready to have him! Swollen ankles and all(never had that with my girls)! He is so fun even if he has a jekyl/hide personality! That kids mood can change in an insant!

Some of Caden's 'loves' are:
legos, legos, and more legos
bakugans
star wars (the movies, the wii game, the figures..you get the idea)
cheese....nuff said
stuffed animals....he will obsess over one for a couple of weeks and
then move on to another one...right now it's mickey mouse...it goes
EVERYWHERE with him!

Caden is very cuddley and loves to be 'cozy'

I love you Caden Brian, I hope you had a good birthday!

DISNEYLAND '09!

Ok, you have been warned. There will be alot of pictures. I took a total of 178 pictures and so did my sis-in-law. These are just a few.

We left on Sunday, the 29th and drove to Mesquite, NV. Not much to do for families, so we went bowling.

Brian and I had never gambled before so we thought it would be a blast. WRONG! What a waste! It was kinda fun watching all the old people, with their oxygen tanks, walkers, and cigs sitting at the slots!

I think this picture sums up our stop in Mesquite....

Bring on the pictures!
We got into California on Monday and went to Downtown Disney! I loved that place at night! All the musicians and the nightlife was so much fun. Caden was in heaven at the Lego store!

My pictures are kinda in random order....

Our first day in Disneyland (tuesday), we met Donald Duck right when we walked in. He was in a good mood until Madi came along! She asked him to sign her book, and handed him her pink marker.........

needless to say it ruffled his feathers! Grandpa got it all on tape! Hilarious!

Caden and McCoy's favorite ride.

Brian's not so favorite ride......Star Tours.....he had to go back to the hotel and lay down. Even if we bring it up now, he kinda throws up a little in his mouth!

oooohhh...don't I wish I had one of these at home!

What time is it?!

Love this picture of my Haylee Bug at California Adventure.

We saw two parades there. One in Disneyland and one in California Adventure. The pixar parade in California Adventure was our favorite.

Mr. Potato Head was making eyes at us!

Like I said, these are in random order. Our first night in California, in Downtown Disney, we ate at the Rainforest Cafe. The kids loved seeing all the animatronic animals!

Haylee with her cute cousin's. They are such girlie girls!
