She was an active member of the LDS Church where she served as the Relief Society President twice and was a visiting teacher for 50 years.

Virginia enjoyed serving others including her family and taking care of Everett's every need until he passed away. She enjoyed camping, traveling, cooking, sewing and keeping a good home. She especially loved family gatherings and cooking for everyone.

She is survived by her son, Warren (Karin) Ware; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Owens; a special Indian Placement Program daughter, Nora Damon, Sawmill, AZ; 7 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. "Cuz the Chicks Dig It"

This actually happened last Tuesday, July 28.

It was about 8:45 pm and Brian was still at work, the kids were watching a movie and playing downstairs. I decided to get in the shower. I just had put shampoo in my hair and McCoy came in screaming. ~ nothing new with this kid, he screams alot~
So I basically didn't think anything of it ~ mother of the year, right here!~
I didn't even open the shower door. Then Haylee comes in and is screaming too.
So I fling open the door prepared to chew someone a new **** and I all I see is blood, lots of blood covering the 4 year olds face.

I panic, frantically rinse all the soap out of the hair, throw some clothes on, grab some towels and the kids and chuck everything in the van.

I call Brian on the way to the insta-care. Thank goodness he was on his way home and already heading north on the freeway. I pull in to the insta-care litterally not even a mile from our house and it is closed. It closed at 9 CRAP! So I call Brian again. Screaming and crying into the phone all the while telling Haylee to keep pressure on McCoys head. Brian says he is getting off at our exit right then. What that didn't even take 5 minutes?! Them Lexus' are faaaassssstttt! So he tells me to meet him at the park and ride and he will drive cuz I sound like a crazy woman at this point!

I go screaming down the 'new road' to the freeway. Then I hear throw up noises coming from the middle seat. Great! Haylee is now sick after seeing her brothers blood that she is now passing out! I pull in the park and ride and Brian has flagged down a sherriff to come and look at McCoy. We fling the doors open and he starts to assess the little bugger. It stopped bleeding! Thank goodness! But the gash is really deep so we decide to go to the ER anyway to get it glued.

We take the freeway to the hospital cuz it seems like every main road in Ogden is under construction!!!! I call my mom on her cell and luckily her and dad are just coming out of the Junction from seeing Harry Potter! Score! They met us at the ER and took the other kids back home (including vomit girl).

The good thing about having a little kid in the ER is that they get you to a room real quick! =)

They couldn't super glue it shut because it was too close to the eye. So he got 5 stitches after they numbed it real good.

He was so brave! He even FELL ASLEEP while the Dr. was stitching him up!

***betcha all want to know how it happenend****

the story I got was Madi was mad at him for teasing her and pushed him. He fell into my bed and hit the metal bed rail on the bottom.

Poor little dude! I did feel better after the nursing staff was so impressed with our parenting!!! They were shocked this was our 4th child and first stitches for any of them! whoot whoot!

all the way home McCoy kept saying "Chicks dig scars, huh Dad"!

yep buddy, those chicks do!
