Why I Love My Husband......

I love my husband today because he left me!


That's right, he left

at 8:11 am to be exact

took the kids to school and left

took the 3 year old too

and left

left to run errands

for hours

left me to do whatever I wanted to do

so I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned!

I know I know I should've went shopping, or got a massage or something!

but I'm strange like that

I love to clean

to deeeeeeep clean

and there was some areas in my house that desperately needed it!

you know those areas that are hard to get to with a 3 year old attached to your hip!


so now it's almost 1 in the afternoon

my house is shiny

my laundry is done

I made caramel apples and pumpkin squares too

yea to my hubby for getting the heck out of my way today!

I LOVE YOU!

so i decided to go junkin' today at the d.i.

i was getting kinda bummed out because nothing was catching my eye

until i saw her

only 5 bucks. already dressed in red. distressed and all!

then this evening i got a surprise


looky what i inherited



my sweet, awesome, and totally decor savy uncles gave me these!!

they are 'down-sizing' and said to expect more cool decor to come my way!

yea me!

while i was out blurking in blogland, i came across this little ditty on sharkbaits blog. i don't know about you, but i'm always looking for new ways to help my kids with their homework and such. this is great for spelling lists! you can type in the spelling list, save it, then your kiddos can log on and play games with the words, have practice tests too!

yesterday we went to gardner village in west jordan. we started this tradition a few years ago and now the kids get so excited to see the witches!

it was so nice not to drag the stroller. yea for the 3yearold that wants to be a big man! we were able to go in and out of the shops much easier that way!


i think this witch is probably my favorite. the wheels on the bike are really moving

madi wasn't feeling too hot..... stupid mom should've known better...... she got sick later.......

about 2am hubby heard gagging sounds coming from madi. she would feel better and then ten minutes later, not so much. so we were up til about 4. she went back to bed around 3, but hubby and i were so wound up that we stayed up and watched "secondhand lions" on directv. good show by the way. needless to say, when my alarm went off at 6:30, i did not want to get up!

so today for thankful thursday.......

no more pukey pukey!

Today I am thankful for my #4. My little stay-at-home-buddy. My little try-my-patience-to-the-very-core. My handsome 3 year old.

When he was learning to crawl we gave him the name "Dozer" because he would put his head down on the ground and plow the carpet.

He is constantly non-stop. Always into something. Exploring. Destroying. Learning. Repeating.

Everything.I.Say.

A lot of bad words. That I am very sorry for.

He loves to be tickled. Watching High School Musical. The Jonas Brothers. Ironman. The Broncos. Basketball. Helping Grandpa. His tubby time. Sleeping in Mom's bed. Trucks. Darth Vader.
